Whilst you do not need any professional qualifications to be a successful and active Tree Warden there are some of you who may wish to become qualified in one area or another. Arboriculture, Ecology and Forestry are huge subject matters and there are many opportunities to learn practical and academic skills. Some of these skills can be learnt on short courses, some through Open University or on full time courses.
